About Emmanuel
I'm Emmanuel — known online as Cybernerddd — a cybersecurity learner focused on web application security, ethical hacking, and offensive security growth. I’m building my path through practical labs, writeups, certifications, and hands-on tooling.
My journey into hacking started with curiosity — how websites work, how systems communicate, how vulnerabilities happen, and how attackers think. That curiosity grew into a serious commitment to cybersecurity and a long-term goal of becoming a professional web application pentester.
Today, my focus is on web security, OWASP vulnerabilities, XSS, Burp Suite practice, Python-based security tooling, Linux, and continuous hands-on learning. I care about understanding both how applications are built and how they can be broken, so I can think more deeply about securing them.
My philosophy
I believe cybersecurity is a craft. To secure systems properly, you have to understand how they fail, how they are attacked, and where developers make assumptions that turn into risk. That is why I study security from an offensive perspective.
My goal is to become the kind of pentester who is technical, disciplined, observant, and always improving. I document what I learn, practice consistently, and treat this as a serious long-term mission.
Where I’m heading
- Master Web Application Hacking and the OWASP Top 10
- Deepen my Burp Suite, recon, and vulnerability discovery skills
- Build and refine offensive security tools in Python
- Publish more writeups, notes, and learning documentation
- Earn key certifications and grow into a junior pentesting role
